Lady Garden Foundation

The Lady Garden Foundation is a national women’s health charity, raising awareness and funding for gynaecological health. They are determined to rid the world of gynaecological cancers; and to do this, they believe we need to change the way we talk about our Lady Gardens.

Started in 2014, they initially funded ground-breaking research into the treatment of these cancers at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As the oldest cancer hospital in the world, The Royal Marsden remains one of the largest cancer centres in Europe, with a truly global impact. The money raised by the Lady Garden Foundation continues to fund cutting-edge studies aimed at revolutionising the treatment of gynaecological cancers.

The Prince's Trust - Women Supporting Women

Women Supporting Women was established at The Prince’s Trust to help young women who face disadvantage and adversity to transform their lives. They are committed to raising funds so that more young women can build their confidence and receive support to get into jobs, self-employment, education or training. Their #ChangeAGirlsLife campaign, helps to ensure that young women’s futures are not predetermined by their circumstances. The money raised helps support young women across the UK to receive life-changing support and guidance from The Prince’s Trust, enabling and empowering them to move forward with renewed confidence.

WOMEN FOR WOMEN INTERNATIONAL

A cause close to Dr. Maryam Zamani’s heart, Women for Women International is a non-profit humanitarian organisation that provides practical and moral support to female survivors of war. They help such women rebuild their lives after war’s devastation through a year-long tiered program that begins with direct financial aid and emotional counselling and includes life skills (e.g., literacy, numeracy) training if necessary, rights awareness education, health education, job skills training and small business development. Since their origins during the Bosnian war in 1993, Women for Women International has reached over 553,000 marginalised women in 14 conflict-affected countries.
